Well-suited to such high intensity operations, it was approved for service across the entire Legiones Astartes before the outbreak of the Horus Heresy. Alongside the Scorpius, several other mobile artillery units are commonly seen in the arsenals of the Legiones Astartes, including the Whirlwind. Mounting an indirect-fire multiple missile launcher, the Whirlwind provides saturation fire, bracketing a large area with its explosive payload.

This multipart plastic kit builds four Whirlwinds and four Scorpius Missile Tanks, mobile artillery for your Legiones Astartes armies in games of Legions Imperialis. Both are capable of indirect fire, with the Scorpius focusing on taking out enemy vehicles, Knights, and even Titans, while the Whirlwind excels at driving enemy infantry out of cover. Up to four of your vehicles can be fitted with an optional dozer blade, offering a degree of customisation to your missile tanks.

This kit comprises 120 plastic components and 1x Legion Vehicle Transfer Sheet containing 1130 high-quality waterslide transfers to decorate your miniatures.

These miniatures require assembly and are supplied unpainted – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
